A Byte About Me

I was born and raised in Brazil. During my childhood, I witnessed the last change of Brazil’s national currency as the country grappled with the effects of hyperinflation. That had a formative impact on my view on money and institutions. In my teens, I was able to move to the United States to study economics and computer science. In 2020, I moved to the beautiful state of Michigan with my wife and our dog.

As a passionate data geek, the line between “work” and “fun” often blurs. However, I do enjoy many away-from-keyboard activities . In my spare time, I like to make music, explore the outdoors, go fishing, barbecue, and woodwork.
